License
The entire Diggers protocol is published under the Business Source License 1.1 (BUSL-1.1). The source code is public, auditable, and lives in the Diggers source repository. Build on Diggers, don't copy it.
What you can do
Anyone can interact with the official Diggers deployment. The license explicitly authorizes every normal use of the protocol and more:
- Launch coins, trade them, harvest fees, graduate them, reserve names.
- Build interfaces, dashboards, bots, and analytics tools on top of the official deployment.
- Write smart contracts that integrate with Diggers — aggregators, vaults, games, anything.
- Plug existing protocols and platforms into the official deployment.
- Build on top of launched coins and their mechanics (points, daily contest, vesting, graduation).
- Index, display, analyze, and redistribute on-chain data emitted by the protocol.
- Read, review, audit, and learn from the full source code.
- Earn money from any of the above.
What you cannot do
The license protects the protocol from being cloned. These uses are expressly prohibited:
- Fork or redeploy the Diggers contracts (or a customized version of them).
- Rewrite the protocol logic in another language and deploy it.
- Deploy Diggers on any chain not listed in the official deployment registry.
- Use the Diggers name, logo, or branding without permission.
- Build interfaces or contracts that reference counterfeit deployments.
In short: build on Diggers, don't copy it. The protocol is open to read, open to integrate, and closed to fork until the change date.
The licensor
The licensor is not a company. It is defined, at all times, as whoever controls the ENS name diggersdotfun.eth on Ethereum mainnet. All rights, powers, and revenues reserved by the license transfer automatically with lawful control of that ENS name.
License parameters, additional use grants, and the official deployment registry are published as ENS text records under diggersdotfun.eth and its subnames — making them machine-readable and verifiable by anyone.
Change date
On the earlier of July 19, 2030 or a date published at v1-license-date.diggersdotfun.eth, the license automatically converts to the GNU General Public License v2.0 or later. After that date, the code is fully open source.
