Graduation & status
Blue chip is the rank a coin cannot buy, cannot fake, and cannot beg for. Three bars, measured by the chain itself, on top of graduation. Clear them and the coin turns blue and locks its name; it is a live status, not a one-time badge.
Blue chip sits on top of graduation. A coin has to graduate first, by having 80% of its supply bought out of the pool, before it can even be checked for Blue chip. Graduation is the one-way milestone that lifts the anti-whale cap; Blue chip is the ongoing status that proves a real community formed around the coin afterwards.
Holders proves distribution: 500 wallets that bought through the pool, counted by the token itself. Transfers between wallets do not create holders; only real pool buys do, so the count cannot be inflated with shuffle bots. Volume proves life: $1,000,000 of cumulative pool trading, priced at the moment of each trade. Market cap proves it lasted: the average of daily closing prices over the tracked window must imply at least a $500,000 cap, so one manipulated candle cannot buy the badge.
The moment all three bars pass on a graduated coin, anyone can send the transaction that promotes it: the creator, a holder, a fan, a bot. It also happens on its own on the next trade. The coin's ticker turns blue everywhere on Diggers, and the real prize unlocks: its name and ticker lock in the registry for as long as it keeps the status.
The bars are deliberately expensive to fake together. Buying 500 wallets of holders costs pool fees on every wallet. Wash-trading $1M of volume pays the creator table and the contest pot the whole way. Holding a $500K average cap means real buyers defended a real price for days. Any one bar can be gamed at a price; all three at once approximate the only thing that cannot be: a genuine community.
A live, on-chain status a graduated coin earns by clearing three measured bars: at least 500 holders, at least $1,000,000 of cumulative trading volume, and an average market cap of at least $500,000 sustained over the tracked window. Blue chip coins get the blue ticker and lock their name and ticker while they hold it.
Graduation is a one-way milestone (80% of supply sold) that lifts the anti-whale cap. Blue chip is a separate, ongoing status on top of graduation: it is checked live against holders, volume and market cap, and a coin can lose it and win it back.
Nobody. All three thresholds are measured by the chain itself from the coin's own telemetry: holder count, cumulative volume and mean-tick market cap. Anyone can trigger the check; there is no committee and no application.
The telemetry counts pool trades only: wallet-to-wallet transfers move nothing. Faking 500 holders and $1M of volume through real pool trades costs real fees on every trade, which makes gaming the bars expensive by design.
